The Greenway reclaims the old railway line that once linked Rota with El Puerto de Santa María.
It runs for about 7.5 kilometres and is recognised as a «blue trail». It crosses farmland, small stands of trees, streams and native vegetation, with rest areas along the way.
Families love it for its accessibility: a minimal gradient and a wide surface make it comfortable on foot, by bike or in a group. In the episode of «Más allá del mar», Andrés Barba rides it with Carolina Bonhomo, of the Environment Department at Rota Town Council.
